Chairs board meetings, spokesperson for EMS PTSA, leads the board to achieve its mission and goals.

Supports president and takes on the president's responsibilities in his/her absence.

Custodian of all funds of EMS PTSA. Keeps records and prepare reports to comply with local, state and federal laws.

Takes minutes and records all business at each board and membership meeting, making sure all minutes are complete.

Demonstrates leadership on children’s issues at the local level by educating PTSA members, community members, and elected officials about PTSA’s issues of concern and legislative priorities and goals.

Manages all programs offered by PTSA to all the students. 

Manages all the communication channels to ensure timely delivery of all the information to the community. 

Oversees all the fundraising activities to support PTSA goals.

Encourages all parents to support PTSA's goals by joining as paying members. 

Organizes activities to appreciate EMS staff, teachers, students, and volunteers, as well as supports school events by recruiting volunteers.
