2022 Spirit Week

10/3 to 10/7

Each year, 3 or 4 times a year our ASB puts on Spirit weeks to help build community and school culture. Each day during that week is a different theme and students are encouraged to dress to that theme.

Monday, Oct 3rd - Comfy Cozy Day

Tuesday, Oct 4th - Twinning or Multiple Day

Wednesday, Oct 5th - Wacky Wednesday

Thursday, Oct 6th - Color War (EMS Colors, 6th green, 7th blue, 8th black)

Calling All Eagle Artists: Show Your Voice!

Submissions Must Be Received By Oct. 21

Reflections is back at Evergreen for another inspiring year! Students, you have a chance to "Show Your Voice!" by creating your own original artwork in one or more categories:
Dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual artsNational PTA Reflections 2022-2023 Call for Entries: Show Your Voice!
Entries from our school are evaluated, and finalists have a chance to advance to the district level, then to state and finally national judging.

Friday, October 21 is this year's deadline for students to electronically submit artwork together with the completed and signed entry form to reflections@evergreenptsa.org. Theater Is Coming Back!

Curtain up! Light the lights! EMS PTSA is thrilled to welcome our theater program back to Evergreen! Along with Studio East's ArtReach program, we are excited to bring the classic story of Beauty and the Beast to the stage.

EMS PTSA's Coding Club is excited to welcome returning and new students for a fun year of learning to code! Club registration is now open.

This year we have divided the club into two groups: beginners and advanced. Please check the details on EMS PTSA's Coding Club page.

Important Dates

  • Club start date: 10/19
  • Club meetings: Every Wednesday 6–7 pm (virtual)

Join Evergreen Middle School PTSA in providing support and enrichment to EMS students and staff. By joining as a member, you give the PTSA a stronger voice in advocating EMS PTSA — Click or scan QR code to joinfor your child and help to provide valuable support of our school and activities.

Becoming a member does not mean you need to volunteer or come to meetings. By getting involved at your child’s school, you will be part of the solution, helping to make positive changes.

It is a fact that kids do better when families are engaged in their learning. Become a member, or renew your annual membership!

Our PTSA board has some open positions for the new school year, and we'd love to have you join us! You'll be part of a welcoming and passionate group of volunteers who work as a team to enrich our students' experiences at EMS. Our open board roles are:

Free Virtual Film Screening

Lake Washington Schools Foundation and Overlake Medical Center & Clinics present a free screening of The Upstanders,

LWSF and Overlake Medical Center & Clinics presents a free virtual screening of the film The Upstanders, a documentary about resilience and the power of connection to end bullying.

a documentary film that breaks down all aspects of cyber-bullying and builds empathy and resilience to stand up to it. Register now to watch The Upstanders virtually between October 3–10.

Every dollar contributed to Pass the Hat, Evergreen PTSA's primary fundraiser, goes directly to support the services and programs offered by the PTSA.

Our recommended donation is $100 per student, but please consider giving whatever you can. Don't forget corporate matching, if your employer participates! Every dollar counts, and all contributions are greatly appreciated!

Your donations to Evergreen Middle School PTSA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, are tax-deductible.
