Flipping the Script: Develop Resilience and a Growth Mindset in your Child |
Jerry Blackburn | 60 minutes |
All too often our children are engaged and invested in structures that run counter to the development of resilience and a growth mindset. Colleges and employers are at times taken aback by the lack of flexibility and malleability our children demonstrate when heading out into the world. The increase of anxiety and depression is another evidence that makes the holistic health of our youth a paramount.
Resilience is the ability to achieve in the face of adversity: the ability to bend, rather than break. A growth mindset, allows our children to persevere and embrace their strengths. Learn from the rich experience of Jerry Blackburn, to help your child grow to be a gracious participant in this complex world. Jerry has great insight into the character and confidence development of children. You will also get a Q&A opportunity with Jerry.
