Nearly 60 LWSD middle school students qualified for a world championship tournament in robotics. For the first time ever, Timberline Middle School (TMS) hosted 40 teams at the statewide qualifying tournament for the VEX IQ Challenge on February 26. Fifteen teams between TMS and Evergreen Middle School (EMS) qualified at the state tournament for the VEX Robotics World Championship. Among these many talented students are two teams who are ranked first and third in the world.
