PTSA Student Recognition AwardsTerri Whidby, parent, PTSA Student Recognition Chair The PTSA recognizes students on a monthly basis here at Evergreen Jr. High. Student Recognition is designed to encourage and celebrate good deeds, good behavior, good students, and citizenship. Those students who are representing Evergreen Junior High’s “Eagle” Spirit are given a recognition slip by a teacher or administrator who observes a student’s leadership, spirit, or exemplary behavior. The students who have been recognized turn in a copy of their slip to the office. Each month students at each lunch are selected by a random drawing. Students selected will be recognized the last Friday of the month. Our prizes this year have included Target gift cards, Borders gift cards, Jamba Juice gift cards or like item. Each lunch there are 3-4 prizes given away. The winners from November – January are listed below.
